Introduction
Most people who find me are navigating a lot at once — building a life somewhere new, caring deeply about a world that feels like it's unravelling, or being wired a little differently from the people around them. I've experienced this myself.
I’m a British-born counsellor who has called the Netherlands home for over a decade. Having built my life across cultures, I understand both the excitement and the quiet ache of wondering where and how you belong.
After graduating business school, I realised it wasn't the life I wanted and shifted my career from corporate consulting towards counselling and facilitation. I set-up an association to help young people find purpose, completed a diploma in counselling and Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry training.
Since 2019, I’ve been engaged in the climate movement — facilitating Active Hope circles to help people transform eco-anxiety and climate grief into grounded purpose. I also support clients integrating psychedelic experiences.
I’m autistic and surround myself with incredible neurodiverse humans who remind me that maybe we’re not the weird ones. I’ve been actively poly since my mid-twenties, learning both the abundance of love it can offer and the emotional complexity it invites.
These lived experiences shape the way I hold space for others exploring connection, authenticity, and belonging — whether that’s in love, in community, or on a fragile planet.

Specialisations and Expertises
My approach is relational, somatic, and infused with curiosity. I walk beside you as a fellow human navigating the same beautifully complex world. Together, we slow things down enough to listen: to the body, to emotion, to the wisdom underneath the noise.
I draw from trauma-informed counselling, somatic integration work and a compassionate inquiry-informed approach (Dr Gabor Maté), helping to explore what’s behind recurring patterns. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we pause and breathe, sometimes we track sensations or emotion rather than stories. My role is to hold a grounded, compassionate space where you can make sense of what’s moving through you.
I especially focus on supporting people living with anxiety, burnout, grief, eco-anxiety or existential overwhelm, as well as neurodivergent folks who experience the world differently (myself included). I also support clients exploring poly relationships, where love and complexity often dance together.
Clients often tell me that therapy with me feels clear, compassionate, and real. My aim isn’t to fix you, but to help you remember the parts of you that already know how to adapt, connect, and thrive — even in a world that sometimes feels like it’s on fire.
De meest behandelde klachten in mijn praktijk:
1. Expat life, cultural identity & belonging
The disorientation of building a life between cultures — homesickness that doesn't quite have a home to point at, relationships stretched across time zones, the question of where you actually belong. I've been British-born and Netherlands-based for over a decade, so this is familiar ground rather than theory.
2. Burnout, anxiety & existential overwhelm
For people carrying too much: work that's swallowed everything, a nervous system stuck on high alert, or a creeping sense that the life you built doesn't fit anymore. We slow things down enough to hear what your body has been saying.
3. Eco-anxiety, climate grief & finding purpose
I work often with changemakers, activists and people who care deeply about the state of the world — and who are exhausted, grieving, or unsure how to keep going. Since 2019 I've facilitated Active Hope circles helping people turn that despair into something grounded and sustainable.
4. Neurodivergence & self-understanding
Living, working and loving as an autistic or ADHD adult, whether formally diagnosed, newly discovering it, or just quietly wondering. I'm autistic myself, so this is a space where you don't have to translate yourself first.
5. Relationships, intimacy & non-traditional structures
Connection, communication and the emotional complexity of polyamory, open and other non-monogamous relationships. I've been actively poly since my mid-twenties and understand both the abundance and the difficulty.
